WILD-ReSET

Return to a Steadier Rhythm

A 3-night coastal island retreat to support nervous system regulation,

and help you return home feeling more grounded, rested

and better resourced for the season ahead.

October 1-4, 2026

Kirribilli EcoRetreat | Pictou Island, Nova Scotia

When you've been carrying more than feels sustainable

Summer may be over, but for many women, the pace hasn't slowed.

Perhaps you're the one people naturally turn to.

The one who keeps things moving.

Who notices what needs doing before everyone else does.

The one making decisions, solving problems, and quietly carrying responsibilities that often go unseen.

You keep going because that's what life has asked of you.

Until one day you realize how little space has been left for yourself.

Perhaps you've been longing for a quieter rhythm.

Not to escape your life--but to return to yourself within it.

Autumn naturally invites us to slow down.

WILD ReSET offers the opportunity to pause, reflect, and begin the season ahead from a place of steadiness rather than exhaustion.

A thoughtfully designed pause

WILD ReSET isn't about fitting more into your time away.

Nor is it a personal development workshop asking you to become someone different.

It's a carefully designed retreat that gives your body and mind to settle after months of carrying more than feels sustainable.

Rather than asking you to do more, achieve more, or push through discomfort, every part of the experience has been designed to reduce demands rather than add to them.

There is time to breathe.

Time to rest.

Time to wander the shoreline or sit quietly with a cup of tea.

Time to enjoy nourishing meals without deciding what's for dinner.

Time to notice what becomes possible when nothing is asking anything of you.

Over three nights you'll experience nourishing meals, gentle wellbeing sessions, quiet moments in nature, and opportunities to reconnect with yourself—all without pressure or expectation.

Everything is offered as an invitation.

Nothing is required.

You are free to participate in ways that feel supportive, at a pace that feels right for you.

Why three nights?

Rest isn't something most of us can switch on the moment we arrive. It often takes a day or two simply to let go of the pace we've been living. To stop thinking about what's waiting at home. To notice your breathing again. To feel yourself arriving—not just on the island, but within yourself. Three nights creates enough space for that gentle transition. There's time to settle into the rhythm of island life, enjoy unhurried days, and experience what genuine rest can feel like before returning home. Many guests tell us it's only towards the end of their stay that they realize how much they've slowed down.

Why the island matters

Pictou Island isn't simply where this retreat takes place.

It's an essential part of the experience.

Many of the things that keep us alert, busy, and constantly responding simply aren't here.

There are no traffic lights.

No crowded schedules.

Few notifications.

Very few decisions to make.

Instead, there is open coastline, quiet forests, fresh ocean air, birdsong, and the natural rhythm of island life.

Without asking anything of you, the island begins doing what it has always done.

It invites you to slow down.

To breathe a little more deeply.

To notice what becomes possible when life is no longer moving quite so fast.

Sometimes the environment itself becomes one of our greatest teachers.

Here, nature quietly creates the conditions for your body and mind to begin settling in their own time.

"My experience at WILD ReSET was special and nourishing in every way. Being off-grid made it a true escape and gave me permission to fully disconnect from the busyness of everyday life. Paula and Amber were warm, open and genuinely present. Their gentle approach created a space where everyone felt comfortable, welcomed and able to simply be themselves."

Before you arrive

You don't need any previous retreat experience.

You don't need to be "good" at meditation.

You don't need experience with breathwork.

There is no expectation to share personal stories, perform, or arrive with a particular goal.

Simply come exactly as you are.

We'll take care of the details so you can settle into island life at your own pace.

Breathwork at WILD ReSET

Many people hear the word breathwork and imagine something intense or emotionally overwhelming.

That isn't what you'll find here.

The breathwork practices offered throughout WILD ReSET are gentle, optional, and designed to support settling, awareness and nervous system regulation--not intensity.

Gifted by Paula, Certified Pause Breathwork Coach, these guided sessions use simple breath awareness to help you slow down, reconnect with your body, and settle into the quieter rhythm of island life.

You will never be asked to push beyond your comfort zone, and every practice is offered as an invitation rather than an expectation.

A day at WILD ReSET

No two days feel exactly the same. While each day follows a gentle rhythm, there's always room to rest, explore, or simply enjoy being on the island.

Morning

Gentle movement or breath awareness

• Nourishing breakfast

• Guided wellbeing session

Afternoon

The afternoons are intentionally spacious.

Some guests choose a forest walk.

Others spend time reading, journaling, enjoying the wood-fired sauna, swimming in the ocean, or simply sitting quietly overlooking the water.

There is no right way to spend your time here.

Evening

• Shared dinner

• Gentle campfire conversation

• Rest beneath the stars.

Why these experiences matter

Every element of the retreat has been chosen with care.

The guided sessions aren't designed to create emotional breakthroughs.

They're gentle opportunities to notice what steadiness feels like in your own body.

Time in nature isn't another activity to complete.

It's part of the retreat itself, offering space for your attention to soften and your nervous system to settle.

Shared meals provide connection without expectation.

Quiet time is protected because rest isn't something that happens only between activities--it is part of the experience.

"I loved the way the retreat encouraged mindfulness and gently acknowledged whatever thoughts and feelings were present, without trying to change them. It reminded me that life will always have its challenges, but we can learn to listen to our bodies, pay attention to what we're feeling, and stay grounded through it all. I left feeling more aware, more supported, and better able to meet everyday life with steadiness."

"Just what I needed. Everything was perfect. The island setting and atmosphere were fabulous. Paula and Amber made a wonderful team—real, caring, and engaging. What impressed me most was how naturally they were able to respond to the energy of the group, creating exactly what was needed in the moment. I also left with practical tools to help me work through a recurring thought pattern in ways I hadn't before."
